We are lost.

The way that we plan seasons and present concerts is missing. Systemic racism in our art form has led us to search for new ways of choosing music and collaborations. Even just being together in the same room is lost.

We are lost...but now is not the time to focus on what cannot be.

What could we find, if we re-imagined our purpose?

What could we find, if we committed to creativity and social justice?

The Playground Ensemble’s 15th season, “Lost and Found,” is about responding creatively to new challenges, amplifying unheard voices, letting go of our art form’s outmoded and racist legacies, and embracing the new and the uncertain. We will focus on the good to come from connecting in a digital world. We will share the efforts of others, from under-appreciated string quartets to handmade instruments. And we will be here for you, with new music, new voices, and open ears.

We are lost. Come find a way forward in a new world with us.
